Gismondi 1754, second quarter sales up 7%

Gismondi 1754 second quarter sales up 7

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Gismondi 1754 announces the consolidated results of sales in the second quarter of 2023 amounting to 3.7 million euros, up 7% compared to 3.5 million in the second quarter of 2022.

Strong second-quarter data lifts overall consolidated results sales of first semester 2023 to almost 7.9 million, min growth of 12% compared to approximately 7 million in the first half of 2022.

Q2 2023 growth compared to the same period in 2022 was mainly driven by sales of the European wholesale channel (+83% compared to the previous semester), from the brilliant signals coming from new shop in Rome opened at the beginning of the year, which went from revenues of 36,984 in the 1st quarter of 2023 to 179,200 in the 2nd quarter of 2023, and from new franchise opened last February in Qatar, which with 426,703 euros of sales offsets the decline in the Middle East wholesale channel, an area still under development. The decreases in the S. Moritz store, which in the 2nd quarter of 2022 had enjoyed very important and not always recurring special sales, and in Genoa (via Galata) can be attributed to seasonality.
