According to the verdict, a 20-year-old man, armed with a sharp-edged firearm, searched for a person in an apartment building whom the 20-year-old had taken it upon himself to kill. When he did not find the intended victim, he is said to have shot at another apartment door, and is now convicted of attempted murder of the people who were in that apartment.
Chats as evidence in the district court
In a chat, the 20-year-old is said to have written that if someone needs “someone to be woken up” they should write directly to his account privately and he is said to have then written “anywhere and anyone, no women otherwise there are no limits”. Some time later, he took on the task of murdering the intended victim in the apartment building in Farsta.
Part of organized crime
The second man, aged 29, allegedly gave the 20-year-old gun handling advice about the converted tear gas gun used in the shooting, also via chat. He is sentenced for aiding and abetting attempted murder to six years in prison.
According to the district court, the act was carried out in a network criminal context, but the district court does not go into more detail about what the men’s connection to the gang environment looks like.
