Stina Nilsson’s competition win in the middle of the summer – praised by followers after the success: “Best Stina!”

Stina Nilsson is loading up for next season.
But already now she has won one of the summer’s most unexpected competitions.
“It can only be celebrated in one way,” she writes on Instagram.

Stina Nilsson did not have the winter she had hoped for. In general, the development as a biathlete had only gone straight up, and many were amazed at the success she managed to achieve already in her second season in her new sport.

The disappointment of last winter

But the previous season was a setback. Stina Nilsson had difficulty getting results in the World Cup, and was even poked on some weekends, and then had to focus instead on competitions in the IBU Cup, the World Cup’s sub-cup. There was also no WC for Nilsson, who instead had to drive the EC.

Now everyone hopes that Stina Nilsson takes off for the coming season again, and that development continues to move forward. Currently, she is in a tough pre-season for the winter, but already now she has actually won a competition. It has nothing to do with biathlon – and indeed not even snow. Stina Nilsson is from Malung, where the Dance Band Week is now underway. During that week there is also the running competition Buggruset, where Nilsson participated on the women’s side.

Individually, it was a third place for Nilsson in the women’s class – but in the team class it was a win. Nilsson was, among other things, in a team with boyfriend Emil Nykvist, and the times for the four in the team were enough for a first place. Nilsson’s team was called “Glassarna från Jannesgården”, and afterwards Nilsson celebrated with, just that, class from Jannesgården, a cafe in Malung.

“Team victory in the Buggruset for “Glassarna från Jannesgården” can only be celebrated in one way,” she writes.

The followers were of course quick to throw congratulations and congratulations to Nilsson.

“Dear Stina! This season you will do miracles,” writes one.

“Of course it should be celebrated with ice cream! Congratulations on a nice team victory!”, writes another.

“You are the best!”, writes a third.
