The day after the time trial dominated by the yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar did not reverse the trend this Wednesday July 19 between Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc and Courchevel. Pogacar cracked in the Col de la Loze, the last difficulty of the day, letting his Danish rival fly away, now guaranteed to afford a second Tour de France after last year’s edition. If the two men have been neck and neck for more than two weeks, now Jonas Vingegaard should no longer be worried before Paris next Sunday. Pogacar crossed the finish line more than five minutes behind Jonas Vingegaard. Austrian Félix Gall won the day’s stage in Courchevel.
