(Finance) – Wall Street continues trading with a moderate rise, supported by optimism for the quarterly season and by the belief that the US economy, although in difficulty, will not face a real recession. Meanwhile, the index Dow Jones rises by 0.36% to 35,078 points, continuing the positive streak that began on the 10th of this month, while theS&P-500 remains at 4,564 points. In fractional decline the NASDAQ 100 (-0.22%); without direction theS&P 100 (+0.19%).
In the S&P 500, the performance of the sub-funds was good utilities (+1.06%), office consumables (+0.84%) and sanitary (+0.69%). In the lower part of the classification of the S&P 500 basket, significant declines are manifested in the sectors informatics (-0.57%) and materials (-0.54%).
At the top of the rankings American giants components of the Dow Jones, Verizon Communication (+5.51%), Salesforce (+2.89%), cisco systems (+1.68%) and Coca Cola (+1.65%).
The worst performances, however, are recorded on Microsoftwhich gets -1.38%.
