Fantasy horror, which continues after 24 years of absolute cult film

The Witches Club was anything but a mega hit when it was released in cinemas. In the decades that followed, however, the fantasy horror enjoyed a growing fan base that finally got a sequel in 2020 after 24 years of waiting. The new edition of The Witches’ Club is on TV today. The plot of the new witch club is similar to the original. Three young magicians welcome new addition Lily (Cailee Spaeny) to their coven after she has just moved to town. While she is still learning to use her powers responsibly, danger is already at hand. Soon there will be a death which one of the girls is said to have caused.

The new witch club received mostly positive reviews, as shown by Metacritic. Lots of critics praised the entertainment factor of the film, which is primarily aimed at fans of the original.

When is The Witches Club on TV?

The witch club is on this Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben. It’s a TV premiere. It was directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, who has also starred in New Girl and Beau is Afraid.
