Simo Lipsanen started strongly right away
One of the most anticipated sports of the evening, the men’s triple jump is already underway in Lappeenranta.
The home crowd’s favorite, Simo Lipsanen, representing Lappeenranta Urheilu-Miehia, starts his competitive season.
We have seen strong results from Lipsas right from the start. After three laps, Lipsanen leads the triple jump with a result of 16.68. In the first round, Lipsanen already jumped 16.55.
Both results are already better than any of Lipsanen’s competition results on outdoor tracks from last year. Lipsanen also grabbed the season’s top domestic result from Aaro Davidila.
Davidila had jumped 16.41 this season.
