— We received several calls from the public about gunfire shortly after 11 p.m. and several resources went to the scene where a boy in his early teens was found with a gunshot wound, says Joar Källman, commander at police region Mitt.
The boy was taken by ambulance to hospital and at 01:00 the situation was assessed to be stable.
The police are very secretive about the course of events and whether there are any suspects in the crime.
“The boy is under 18, but we will not release any more information at this time,” says Joar Källman.
The police are working at the scene with investigative measures.
