Blizzard is already delivering all the upcoming changes and innovations for Season 1 in Diablo 4. So so that you don’t jump into the unknown, we’ll show you in our overview what you need to know today.
What is this update? This is the preload for the first season of Diablo 4. The Season of Malevolence starts on July 20, 2023 at 7 p.m. The update should therefore be published in advance so that the game can benefit from the changes and new items can be tried out in the eternal realm.

Everything you need to know about the 1.1 update in Diablo 4
When does the patch start? The patch could be downloaded at around 7 p.m.
How big is the download? The total download is 11 GB on the PS5.
Are there any changes immediately? Yes, because players on the eternal realms can benefit from the fixes, balance changes and new items in advance. Blizzard already announced in a stream before the release of Season 1 that non-seasonal heroes can benefit from the changes earlier.
We can’t say anything about the season journey and the Battle Pass yet. It is not clear if these can be inspected yet or will not be displayed until July 20th. So we have to be patient until the update is there.
