The construction industry is a big energy guzzler and in the best case, the solar cells can cover the energy consumption of the construction sheds. Tony Nilsson, who is CEO of a construction company in Falkenberg, believes that it can be a good start.
– You should do what you can to reduce the impact and be a little more self-sufficient, he says.
The solar cells are portable and can be stacked on top of each other on truck beds and then plugged in at the next location. The construction is adapted to withstand harsh weather and wind.
– This is a small step in the adjustment that we all have to make in order to cope with the climate problem, says Lars G. Josefsson, founder of the company that developed the technical solution.
