An unprecedented trial opened on Monday, July 17, in The Gambia. The Ministry of Health and the National Medicines Regulatory Authority are in the box of the accused, after a complaint filed by 20 families. A procedure launched after the death of 70 children since June 2022. According to their relatives, the WHO or even an American investigation, they died after ingesting cough and cold syrups made in an Indian laboratory.
