SK Höjden was first asked, but declined. The second-ranked team Djurgården chose to answer yes to the question.
“We are, of course, very happy that Djurgården IF is ready to step up to the Bandyallsvenskan and that the series will be played with 16 teams, with an unchanged schedule for the other teams,” says Anna-Karin Larsson, competition manager at the Swedish Bandy Federation, in a press release.
