  • Four wanted in custody after drug and weapons raid

    Four men have been requested to be detained after they were arrested in connection with a drug and weapons raid in Sollentuna, reports SVT Stockholm.

    It was last Thursday that the police, after a period of reconnaissance, raided a premises in Sollentuna. A large amount of weapons and drugs were found in the premises.

    In connection with the crackdown, the four people were also arrested.

    The men are suspected of particularly serious weapons offences, particularly serious drug offences, and breaches of the Act on Explosive and Flammable Goods, a serious crime.

  • Man arrested – attacked shop staff

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in central Norrtälje.

    The man first threatened staff in a store with a knife. In the commotion that ensued, the man then tried to injure the staff.

    She was 76 years old.

    Minibus accident on the E4 – two to hospital

    A minibus accident has occurred on the E4 north of Mjölby. Two people have been taken to hospital.

    – A minibus has hydroplaned and is now on its side in the right lane. There are five victims, all out of the vehicle, said Pedher Helmer, officer on duty at the Östra Götaland Rescue Service to MVT.

    The extent of the damage is still unclear.

    A man has tried to rob a woman in a town in Älmhult municipality – but the robbery attempt was stopped by the woman’s dog.

    The man allegedly tried to force his way into the woman’s car when the dog attacked and bit the man.

    The man then disappeared from the scene.

    The incident occurred on Saturday evening and the police have searched for the robber using, among other things, a helicopter, but without finding him.

  • Teenager to hospital after accident

    A teenager has been taken to hospital after an accident involving a moped and a car near Oviken in Berg.

    SOS was alerted to the accident at 00:20 last night. According to SVT Jämtland, it should be a young man who is treated for very serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

    The police will investigate the accident and have, among other things, seized the moped and the car to examine it.

  • Two to hospital after house fire

    The police and emergency services have been sent to a house fire in Bromölla on Sunday morning.

    – We have a fully developed house fire, says rescue leader Anders Nordstedt.

    Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance.

    – At first we were inside the villa, but it burned so much that we went outside. My picture is that everyone is out of the house, says Johan Wendt, officer on duty at the rescue service.

    According to the rescue service, the house will not be salvageable. There is currently no risk of spread to other houses.

    – We are in full swing with the extinguishing work right now and are in the process of containing the fire, says Anders Nordstedt.

    Forces from the stations in Bromölla, Näsum and Kristianstad are on site.

    – We will probably remain there for an hour or so with this staffing, then it will be scaled back a bit. But we will probably stay on site all day, says Johan Wendt.

    The police describe the circumstances surrounding the fire as “unclear” at the moment.

  • Masked men tried to enter the apartment

    On Saturday evening, a man in Bergsjön in Gothenburg was beaten by three men while he was smoking in his gate.

    The men were masked and also threatened the man with a gun.

    In connection with the masked men trying to get into an apartment, they also assaulted another man. However, they failed to enter the apartment.

    None of the men who were beaten should have had to seek care and it is unclear why the masked men attacked.

    I think that the people who struggle the most are poor people who cannot afford Aftonbladet Plus.
