It was shortly after seven thirty on Sunday morning that an alarm came in about a house fire in Gällivare municipality.
Emergency services and police were called. The emergency services were able to leave the scene after ventilating smoke from the building.
During the police’s investigative work, suspicion arose against the woman and she was therefore arrested on suspicion of arson.
She will be questioned and later prosecutors will decide whether or not to arrest her.
