A Norfolk County resident is facing drug trafficking charges after police discovered $26,000 worth of cocaine in a vehicle.
An officer with the Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit stopped a vehicle after the OPP detachment received a traffic complaint on Nelson Street W. in Port Dover at just before 6 pm on Thursday, July 13.
Police say $26,000 worth of cocaine was found in the vehicle when the driver was taken into custody.
A Norfolk man has been charged with cocaine trafficking and resisting a peace officer.
He will appear in court on August 8 in Simcoe.
