New survival game on Steam lets you rule a Japanese village, relies on co-op, coming in 2023

The survival game Sengoku Dynasty will be the indirect successor to the Steam hit Medieval Dynasty and now the release date is finally known.

What kind of game is this? Sengoku Dynasty is a mixture of survival game, life simulation and RPG. The game puts you in feudal Japan, where you should build your own village and rule over it according to the recipe for success of the indirect predecessor Medieval Dynasty.

Within your newly founded community you take on all sorts of tasks and ensure the continued existence of your family.

Like Medieval Dynasty, Sengoku Dynasty relies on typical survival and RPG mechanics. You can forge alliances with NPCs and build weapons, tools and buildings. You also have to provide your village with food.

But the constant interaction with the NPCs in particular is an important part of the gameplay, because if you want to found and expand a village, you have to meet the needs of the people in your country.
