Nadya is happy that the Netherlands is trying to help. “There are sanctions, municipalities are working on reception places and there are many aid initiatives. Foundation Ukrainians in the Netherlands streamlines it and I signed up there. This concerns humanitarian aid, but also, for example, military aid such as bullet-proof vests. There are storage facilities in Utrecht and other cities where this is collected to be brought to Ukraine.”
