The Return by Catherine Corsini initiatory film to self discovery

Le Retour tells the story of a Senegalese mother and her two teenage daughters in the footsteps of their family history in Corsica. The film was the subject of a controversy over the bad atmosphere of filming which had almost cost him his place in competition at the last Cannes Film Festival. The production also received a heavy financial penalty for having filmed a predominantly sexual scene with an underage actress without prior authorization.
