The Belgian dancer and choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker is the “Mozart” of contemporary choreography. Born in 1960 to a farmer father and a teacher mother, the Flemish artist succeeded in establishing a new link between dance and music. His more than 60 creations have been celebrated around the world. A word, a gesture and a silence around his new play, presented at the Festival d’Avignon 2023, “Exit above – after the storm”.
