Dune 2-Star hypes sci-fi blockbusters to the max
According to Deadline, the actress who played Lady Jessica spoke euphorically about Dune: Part Two in the Collider interview:
Number one is phenomenal and big and terrific, and then comes the close-ups, the visuals, and the acting. Yes, it’s all great. He’s a damn nothing compared to number two. The second is like a fucking punch in the pit of the stomach. He is unreal.
That’s not all, because while the actress has yet to see the finished film, she continues to pour out Dune 2 praise:
I read the script. I saw the footage. I come on set when I’m not filming, which I don’t actually do because I’m too busy and tired and I don’t care. I’m done. I wanted to look at the setups. I wanted to see Austin Butler do what he did. It’s incredible. There are no words for that. the costumes, [Jacqueline Wests] Costumes, what Austin brings to this character, what Christopher Walken does. I mean it’s unreal.
The plot of Dune 2 covers the second half of Frank Herbert’s original novel. This time, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) gets to know the world of the Fremen, with whom he wants to lead House Harkonnen in a decisive battle.
