Salétros joins AIK immediately and the club hopes to have him ready to play as soon as possible.
“I am incredibly happy to be home. Putting on the AIK jersey will always be just as special. But now there is no time for talking, but hard work and focus on the task,” says the 27-year-old in a comment on the club’s website.
The midfielder most recently comes from French SM Caen.
“That Anton chooses to come home to his beloved AIK in the middle of his prime as a player is absolutely fantastic. With the opportunity for another year in France, he still chose to return to us. Anton will enrich our training environment with a good attitude while he will surely to contribute strongly in the matches that will make AIK climb the table throughout the summer and autumn,” says sporting director Thomas Berntsen.
Salétros, who has so far played 143 competitive matches for AIK, has also belonged to Russian Rostov and Norwegian Sarpsborg 08 in recent seasons.
