Harrison Ford will go down in film history with two roles. One is Indiana Jones, the other is Han Solo from the Star Wars universe. Apparently, not everyone automatically associates the star with the sci-fi franchise. The funny proof of this is now delivered Podcast appearance by Ford at Conan O’Brien. You can watch the entertaining video for yourself.
Harrison Ford hilariously shoots at embarrassing Star Wars note
According to Variety, the US talk show host asked Ford about his origins, but his notes incorrectly stated that the actor’s father was of German-Irish origin. Ford takes a quick look at the note himself and notices that it also says “Han Solo” next to his name. Of course, the star does not leave this uncommented:
So, if that is a quality of your research, and I imagine it is, because it says ‘Harrison Ford’ right there and you had to write ‘Han Solo’ next to it. Can’t you fucking remember that? O’Brien wittily tries to counter that Ford didn’t really make an impression on him in Star Wars, but the presenter shrugged it off gotten too deep into the embarrassing situation. Ford therefore only asks him dryly why he is no longer on television. Ouch.
