Isak’s success
The star that shines brightest right now is Alexander Isak. The 23-year-old signed for Newcastle last summer in a record transfer and has now made his very first season in the world’s best league, the Premier League.

Despite the season being affected by injury problems, Isak managed to show his great talent for England. In 22 games played, the Swedish attacking star managed to score 10 goals and then we must remember that there were a lot of goals during the season.

Best in the world
Now Alexander Isak has received his great recognition when the American sports channel ESPN has named the world’s best striker in the soccer world. Then we find the 23-year-old in a very nice eighth place among all goal scorers around the big clubs.

All employees at ESPN have been allowed to vote on which strikers did the best this past season and Isak is gaining a lot of trust from the reputable TV channel, see the picture below.

He is number 1
Number one on the list of the world’s best strikers does not immediately come as a surprise that it is the goal king Erling Haaland. The Norwegian broke the all-time scoring record in the Premier League with an incredible 36 goals in 35 games and also won the treble with Manchester City.
