The municipality is now investigating what the network of these virtual hubs should look like. The idea is to have space for two shared cargo bikes at each hub and even more shared cargo bikes in popular places (swimming pools, sports clubs). “The network of virtual hubs must be comparable to that of bus stops, so that everyone has a place within walking distance to start or end a ride with the shared cargo bike,” the municipality writes.
