Threads is currently the most significant competitor to Elon Musk’s Twitter.
Meta, the technology company that owns Facebook and Instagram, has released its competing app for Twitter.
You can log in to the Threads application with Instagram credentials, and it enables text publications of 500 characters as well as images, links, videos and discussion.
CNBC’s according to the application can be downloaded for free in 100 countries, but not in the EU for the time being due to the Union’s data protection regulations.

Threads is currently the most significant competitor billionaire Elon Musk’s for owned Twitter.
Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion last year. Musk’s changes to Twitter have caused widespread anger among users of the platform.
Since Musk became the owner of Twitter, the number of employees has shrunk drastically and the layoffs have targeted, among other things, people whose job it is to prevent the spread of false information and hate speech.

Meta is believed to be using Musk’s chaotic management style to launch its new service, which the company hopes will become a new communication channel for public figures, companies and politicians.
Instagram can tighten the platform
The application was introduced as a clear by-product of Instagram, giving the platform a ready-made audience of more than two billion users in theory.
– If an Instagram user with a lot of followers starts posting regularly on Threads, the new platform can become successful quickly, estimates the financial analyst Brian Wieser.
Analyst at the market research company Insider Intelligence by Jasmine Engberg according to Threads, it would only need a quarter of Instagram’s monthly users to be as big as Twitter.
– Twitter users desperately need an alternative and Musk has offered To (Mark) Zuckerberg window, said Engberg.
