US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will visit China this week, the US Treasury Department says.
During the trip, which is planned for July 6–9, Yellen is expected to raise issues related to global economic development. Also on the agenda is the importance of handling the relationship between the two countries in a responsible manner, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Last June, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
