During Sunday, Stockholm’s commuter train traffic is greatly reduced. And the chaos will continue.

According to SL, it is due to a shortage of locomotive drivers, cases of illness and vacations. A train driver that SVT spoke to says that over 100 commuter trains were canceled during the day. According to him, the biggest reason is the lack of train drivers and that the trains run without train conductors.
The commuter trains will run once every half hour and SL urges travelers to stay updated on their website.
– It is quite a sharp reduction, perhaps down to half of the regular traffic, says Henrik Palmér to TV4 Nyheterna, and flags for continued problems.
– I have no information on how it will look during the rest of the summer. But it will probably be a strained situation going forward.
