Breaking news… There has been a new development regarding the murder that caused mass protests in France. The French press released an audio recording of the incident in which the police killed 17-year-old Nael M with a gun on 27 June.
In the city of Nanterre, after a young driver named Nael M. was killed by police fire, the video with a voice recording of a passenger in the vehicle describing the event was released on different social media platforms.
The French BFMTV channel stated that the accuracy of the video in question was confirmed and presented the video news including the audio recording of the unnamed passenger.
In the audio recording, the passenger said, “I wanted to make this video to reveal the truth, because there is so much wrong going on social media networks about the death of my friend Nael. I will tell you the story from A to Z.” he said.
The passenger stated that on June 27, at around 08:00 local time, he met with 2 of his friends and went for a walk in Nanterre in the car they borrowed.
Stating that they did not use alcohol or drugs, the passenger noted that while they were driving on the bus road, they noticed that 2 policemen on their motorcycles were following them.
The passenger explained that the officers started the siren and then Nael’s car stopped.
“STOP THE ENGINE OR I SHALL YOU”
Explaining that one of the policemen told Nael to open the window of the car and that his friend followed this command, the passenger said to Nael, “Stop the engine, or I will shoot you.” said he said.
The passenger said that the cops hit Nael with the butts of their guns.

“Stay still or I’ll put a bullet in your head,” one of the cops said, pointing a gun at Nael’s temple. Describing what he said, the passenger said that the other policeman said to his colleague “shoot him”.
The passenger explained that Nael’s foot was taken off the brake pedal with the third gun-handle blow he received from the police, and the vehicle moved.
The passenger, who stated that the vehicle proceeded when the foot of his friend, who was shot by the police at the level of the windshield of the car, touched the gas, the passenger said, “I saw (Nael’s) dying, he trembled. Then we hit the barrier. I got out of the vehicle and ran away because I was afraid.” used the phrases.
The passenger, who witnessed the incident, stated that he thought the police could shoot him too, so he ran.
The passenger said, “I was shocked by what the police did to my friend in front of my eyes.” he said.
The news included amateur camera recordings taken on the day of the incident, images taken by the press at the accident spot after the incident, and a map showing the route followed by the young driver on the day of the incident.
The French press reported that the eyewitness in question will testify to the police on 3 July.

On the other hand, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin stated that 45,000 policemen and gendarmes will take part in the ongoing incidents due to the police killing of a young person in the country this evening.
