Wilma Murto and Viivi Lehikoinen took second place in the athletics Diamond League in Lausanne.

Wilma Murto surpassed her summer best of 477 and took second place in the athletics Diamond League women’s pole vault in Lausanne.

Murto had already won the competition, but the US Olympic champion played a tough tactical game Katie Moon rose to victory with a score of 482. Moon missed the height of 477, but bent 482 on her third attempt.

Viivi Lehikoinen finished second with a top run

Viivi Lehikoinen finished second in the women’s 400m hurdles. Lehikoinen ran a time of 54.67 and was 27 hundredths short of the Finnish record he set earlier in the summer. Holland’s Femke Bol won with a time of 52.76.
