During the City Festival’s first day, a man in his 40s was assaulted at the pride tent in Vasaparken. He was beaten when he tried to stop two youths who were taking down a pride flag. The man is taken to hospital by ambulance. At the moment, the extent of the damage is unclear.
The young people were arrested on Thursday evening but released after questioning and are now suspected of serious assault and hate crimes.
The incident is being investigated by prosecutors.
