The UN Security Council meeting is due to start at 11 a.m. in New York, 3 p.m. in Bamako. Meeting under high tension about the withdrawal of Minusma, the UN mission in Mali, whose mandate expires today (Friday). Mali demanded two weeks ago, with a bang, its withdrawal “without delay”. But the terms and timing of this withdrawal are the subject of tough negotiations, which will have continued until the last minute. Presently, a resolution must be put to the vote, in a context of great uncertainty.
