Helsinki IFK Kasper Halttunen was booked with the best number among Finns at the hockey NHL booking event in Nashville. San Jose Sharks booked the 18-year-old winger in the second round with number 36. Finns were booked 15 times in seven draft rounds.

In the spring, Halttunen captained the Finnish under-18 World Cup team, scoring 6+4=10 in the five matches of the tournament. In HIFK’s league team, Halttunen, who is 190 centimeters tall and weighs almost a hundred kilograms, played 27 regular season matches.

– Halttunen is very skilled, his shot is a real threat, and considering his frame, there is a lot to like about this player. He has the tools for the middle chains of NHL teams, maybe even the top two chains, but I’m not sure his style of play will lead to a long NHL career, Athletic sports media analyst Corey Pronman ran the site in draft monitoring.

Minnesota booked Kumpulainen, New Jersey chose Hämeenaho

The Minnesota Wild chose the center who played in the Pelicans’ U20 team Rasmus Kumpulainen with number 53. I flew to Hämeenahoki got his booking in the second round. The winger, who played a good league season in Aces, ended up with the New Jersey Devils on the 58th reserve shift.

As expected, the NHL’s number one booking was Canada’s 17-year-old super promise Connor Bedard. He was booked by the Chicago Blackhawks. Bedard is considered one of the greatest talents of his generation.

The second was the Swedish defenseman selected by the Anaheim Ducks Leo Carlsson and third, a Canadian forward selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets Adam Fantilli.
