At 64, Madonna continues to officiate on stage and planned a series of concerts from mid-July. But a “serious bacterial infection” recently affected her. Big scare for Madonna fans. His concert tour, which was to begin in mid-July in Vancouver (Canada) to celebrate his 40-year career, has just been postponed, due to the “serious bacterial infection” which affected the star.
Hospitalized for several days in the intensive care unit
Saturday June 24, Madonna therefore contracted a serious bacterial infection which led her “to a stay of several days in the intensive care unit” thus revealed Guy Oseary, her manager. “Right now we have to suspend all commitments, including the tour“, wrote the agent of the star on social networks, promising to communicate “Soon“on new dates for the tour”Celebrations” in North America and Europe, notably in Paris and London.

Madonna was therefore hospitalized on June 24 in intensive care because of this serious bacterial infection. “Her health is improving, but she remains under medical care” and “a full recovery is expected.” her agent also said, without however specifying if Madonna was still in the hospital or being treated at home.
According to the American media Page Six, the star was found unconscious at her home on June 24 and was immediately rushed to hospital. She would have been intubated for at least one night.

If she has a lung infection (which appears to be the case here), those risks are assessed by Fine’s score, which indicates the severity of a lung infection. According to available information, Madonna was intubated and ventilated to help her breathe, indicating a very severe infection or sepsis. certainly benefited from antibiotics and other intensive therapies in intensive care. The evolution is generally good if the management is early, from the first hours”.
