The German streamers Kevin “Orangemorange” Bongers and Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer have apparently had enough of the streaming platform after their bans from Twitch and want to compete. They seem to have lucrative deals with Kick, but do they really exist?
Who are the streamers? Kevin “Orangemorange” Bongers and Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer got their fame from role-playing in GTA 5 Online before breaking into casino streams. The rules on gambling on Twitch, which were enacted in October 2022, hit the streamer channels hard.
Since the beginning of the year, Orangemorange and Scurrows have been openly on the go, because gambling is not a problem there, in fact it is even encouraged. So far, however, they have continued to be online regularly on Twitch, probably to “pull” their viewers over.
At the same time, the streamers launched a provocation offensive on Twitter. Twitch put a stop to the hustle and bustle at the beginning of June and banned both. The bans have now been lifted, but Orangemorange and Scurrows are no longer interested in Twitch.
Now both have apparently landed lucrative deals with the new streaming platform – the problem: Kick doesn’t seem to know anything about it.
Fellow streaming player MontanaBlack says he received an offer from Kick but couldn’t accept it as the “casino platform” would damage his reputation.

Streamers brag about deals that may not even exist
What are these deals? On June 23rd, 2 posts appeared on the respective Twitter accounts of Orangemorange and Scurrows. Each posted a black and white picture of themselves with their face framed in green.
This is exactly how Kick announces its latest achievements, such as xQc or Amouranth. Both wrote: “12 million €, 2 years” and the emoji of a writing hand. The two streamers very clearly suggest that they have signed contracts for 2 years for 12 million euros.
But is that true? At least some people in the comments have doubts about that and they are not entirely unfounded. Because on Kick’s official Twitter account, none of the deals worth millions can be seen so far (as of June 28, 2023).
There, Kick usually gives the new streamers a warm welcome to the family. However, whoever runs the account seems more interested in coming up with puns about candy bars than the German streamers (via Twitter).

Do they just want to draw Kick’s attention to themselves?
What’s up with the deals now? Strictly speaking, neither Orangemorange nor Scurrows have clearly said they have signed any deals with Kick. However, they also do not contradict any comments that obviously accept this (via Twitter).
It is also possible that the two streamers want to make their willingness to make a deal public. For example, DrDisrespect posted a kick-style photo of himself and brazenly demanded $50 million. The streaming platform then said it was in talks with its team (via Twitter).
So it remains to be seen whether these are real deals that will be confirmed over time by Kick, a marketing strategy, or whether Scurrows and Orangemorange were just joking.
The question arises as to why Kick should hire two streamers who are already apparently advertising the platform for free. Especially since the deals are in the tens of millions, MontanaBlack is said to have received a similar offer, but it is a much larger streamer.
Scurrows calls this a “loyalty bonus,” which would sometimes count for more than range. Nevertheless, it seems to be part of the strategy for Kick to buy the viewers at the same time. Therefore, it is of course unfavorable if the latest achievement is banned from Twitch and can no longer attract viewers:
