According to the Nord Pool electricity exchange, the price in electricity area 4, which is southernmost Sweden, is SEK 1:39 per kilowatt hour. In electricity area 3, which includes Stockholm, among other things, the price lands at SEK 1:28 per kilowatt hour.
In northern Sweden’s electricity area 1 and 2, the electricity price on Thursday is SEK 1:28 per kilowatt hour.
It is the highest electricity price in the north since March 6 and the highest in the south since the beginning of April.
Prices are still well below the winter peaks.
On top of the Nord Pool price, the electricity company’s surcharge, electricity tax, VAT and electricity grid fee are added for households.
