Ebba Årsjö is coming off a real super season.
But now she has made a decisive decision – to become even better.
– I actually already feel better, she tells SVT Sport.
Only 22 years old has Ebba Årsjö won most of what can be won in para-sport. In 2022, the Swede won double gold in the Paralympics and double gold in the Para WC.
Årsjö’s great success
2023 offered another great success when Årsjö won a total of four WC gold medals in alpine skiing. Then she ended the season in the very best way by winning the overall slalom cup at the World Cup.

Now Ebba Årsjö wants to be even better for the coming season and has therefore made a decisive life decision for the best of her career and which will affect her everyday life. For the first time ever, the Swede has hired a personal trainer who will make her develop even more.

“Already stronger”
It has already produced an effect in such a short time.
– The training has stepped up and become much better and harder. More structured and adapted to my leg. It’s great fun and I actually already feel a little stronger, she says in an interview with SVT Sport.

In the past, the 22-year-old has mostly trained on her own, but now she appreciates having someone else plan and determine the training schedule for her.
– I avoid this thinking for myself and planning “what should I do now?”. It will be much the same. Now there will be a lot of new things and new exercises and you get to feel muscles that you might not have used otherwise. Much more broad and fun, she tells the TV channel.

Ebba Årsjö covers the entire cost herself and has daily contact with her new personal trainer. It was the Swedish Parasport Federation that tipped the Swede about this particular individual coach and she appreciates it immensely.
– I send a lot of videos and talk to him a lot, it’s nice to have someone to play with, she says in the interview.
– He has an idea with everything to make me better and is extremely thorough.
