Super Mario Bros. Along with Wonder, productions such as WarioWare: Move It!, Detective Pikachu Returns, Batman: Arkham Trilogy have been announced for Nintendo Switch.
In its latest Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo unveiled a wide variety of new games coming to Nintendo Switch this year and beyond, including a host of new games and content featuring Mario and his friends, as well as games from Nintendo’s development and publisher partners.
Nintendo Direct Announcements
Some of the games announced include the next evolution of Mario fun and Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros., the first new game in the series in over 10 years, to be released on October 20, 2023. wonder; Super Mario RPG, the first RPG of the Super Mario series, which will return with new graphics on November 17; a visually enhanced version of Luigi’s Mansion 2, originally released on Nintendo 3DS and will be released in 2024; and Princess Peach, a new game has been introduced that will hit the Nintendo Switch in 2024.
In addition, the second DLC of the tactical adventure game Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: The Last Spark Hunter has been announced. The 5th season of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass featuring Petey Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek characters has been introduced.
Nintendo also introduced Detective Pikachu Returns, a cinematic adventure game with cases to solve and lots of coffee to be released on October 6; WarioWare: Move It!, the new chapter in the WarioWare series where you have to move your body to complete lightning-fast microgames, will be released on November 3; New information has been shown about Pikmin 4, which will be released on July 21.
For even more Pikmin fun, HD versions of the original Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 games for Nintendo Switch will be available on the Nintendo eShop, alongside a demo of Pikmin 4 available on the Nintendo eShop on June 29.
In addition, the presentation featured several games from Nintendo’s global publishing and development partners: Batman: Arkham Trilogy, a collection of action-adventure games starring the ultimate guardian of Gotham City; Palia, a casual multiplayer adventure simulation where you create the idyllic life of your dreams; DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince, an epic journey told from the perspective of an iconic foe; and Persona 5 Tactica, an exciting new adventure in the story of the Phantom Thieves.
