And all football lovers are now saying the same thing about Ibrahimovic.
At the beginning of June chose Zlatan Ibrahimovic to say goodbye to Milan and the entire football career. During emotional scenes, he waved goodbye to the supporters at San Siro and at the same time a football life that lasted a full 24 years.

Nevertheless, since 1999, Zlatan has played football at senior level and accomplished most that can be done in club football. Sure, he never reached that coveted Champions League trophy but can still count a whopping 32 titles from his career.

“Ibra” represented some of Europe’s biggest clubs and won titles in the biggest countries such as Italy, Spain, England and France. There were nine different clubs and it all ended with a second turn in Milan, where it was another league title as a 40-year-old.

It has now been a few weeks since his football career ended and Zlatan has had to adapt to a completely new everyday life as a pensioner. It is still uncertain what the 41-year-old will do next, whether he will return to football or not, but for now he is enjoying his well-deserved time off.

As people cannot at all understand why Ibra stopped playing football, when he has a physique that few other 40-plus people have.
