In a popular MMORPG, starting July 2023, you can summon sandworms reminiscent of the tan-colored beasts from the sci-fi film Dune.
New World has now been on the market for over 1.5 years and continues to receive regular updates adding new content to the MMORPG from Amazone Games.
In July 2023, New World will receive the Blood of the Sands update, bringing with it a new raid boss, the giant desert worm Shah Neshen the Eater.
There will also be a new Heart Rune ability called Sandworm Eater Heart Rune, which will allow you to summon a sandworm reminiscent of the giant beasts from the sci-fi epic Dune.
How does the new Heart Rune ability work? With the new Heart Rune ability, New World players can summon their own sandworm and stalk enemies.
It’s not big enough to swallow oversized machines, but it’s enough for solid damage on an enemy player. To do this, the one you summoned approaches your enemies from below and shoots out of the ground at their feet.
In addition, according to Amazon Games, the worm is able, for example, to push other players off a wall (via newworld.com) and inflict a lot of damage with a subsequent bite.
