According to the news of MacRumors, the second beta version of iOS 17 makes Haptic Touch feature faster. According to the news, the version includes a setting that will enable this feature, which we can also call haptic feedback, to be set faster than before.
A Twitter account tweeted on the subject, “The new Fast Haptic Touch option in iOS 17 feels like 3D Touch!” He shared the image below.
“FAST, DEFAULT AND SLOW”
Faster haptic feedback, an Accessibility option, can be enabled in Settings by going to Accessibility > Touch > Haptic Touch.
In iOS 16, fast or slow options appear as Haptic Touch options.
That being said, iOS 17 Beta 2 now includes “Fast, Default, and Slow” options.
The new ‘Fast’ option is said to be one step ahead in terms of speed compared to the old ‘Fast’ option.
Reportedly, setting Haptic Touch to ‘Fast’ makes a noticeable difference in how fast haptic menus open under the finger when an icon or on-screen item is long-pressed, bringing Haptic Touch interactions closer to 3D Touch interactions.
