Straight from Côte d’Ivoire, Mami Watta has been igniting the French stages since 2019 with her drag queen performances and glamorous looks. She is one of the competitors of the long-awaited season 2 of the show Drag Race France and has surrounded herself with a “racialized” LGBT+ community that understands and supports her to finally find, after years forced to bury her gay identity, its place.
