The statement comes from the Security Council of Belarus in Minsk, which writes that “all forms of provocations, internal conflicts in the political sphere or the military sphere, in the information field or in civil society are a gift to the united West”.
Chechen strongman Ramzan Kadyrov states that Chechen forces are already on their way to affected “conflict areas”.
“The rebellion must be quelled and if tough measures are required, we are ready,” he writes on the social media app Telegram.
Chechnya is a partially self-governing sub-republic of Russia. Kadyrov has his own force, which he himself leads, the Achmat Battalion, which has also participated in the war of aggression against Ukraine.
