    A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of a rape that allegedly took place indoors at an address in Eskilstuna, according to the police’s website.

    The police were alerted on Saturday morning and the arrest took place shortly afterwards.

    – It is not completely clear exactly when the rape took place. We have vague information so far. But it must have happened recently. We will take a closer look at this, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg, press spokesperson for the police region east.

    Interviews will now be held with those involved.

    One person has been taken to hospital after a fire in an apartment building in Västerås.
