Jennifer Lawrence is finally back in cinemas after a long break. The Hunger Games star hit the big screen in cheeky comedy No Hard Feelings from Thursday. Meanwhile, Paramount+ is taking one of theirs to date most challenging roles into its streaming offer on: mother!
At mother! it’s a disturbing mix of Fantasy, Horror and Psycho-Drama. The film is staged like a single nightmare that becomes more unbearable by the minute. In 2017 mother! premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. At that time, Lawrence granted a look behind the scenes.

As Popsugar notes, filming mother! an exhausting affair. Lawrence names the experience “painful” and reveals the scene that bothered her the most:
It was the scene where I woke up in surprise and ran downstairs… it was the worst feeling I’ve ever felt in my life. It was awful and I don’t know if I would ever do a film like that again.
