The Russian Ministry of Defense denies that it struck the positions of the Wagner forces. The Russian security service FSB is investigating Prigozhin for inciting an armed rebellion.
Leader of the Wagner Corps Yevgeny Prigozhin announces in an audio message published on the messaging service Telegram that Russia has attacked Wagner’s fighters with missiles. According to Prigožin, the number of dead is “enormous”.
Prigozhin states that the Russian military leadership must be stopped. He urges the Russian troops not to oppose Wagner’s troops.
– There are 25,000 of us and we are going to find out why in the country [Venäjällä] chaos reigns. 25,000 are waiting as a tactical reserve, and a strategic reserve – is the entire army and the entire country. Anyone who wants to join is welcome. We have to stop this profanity”, informs Prigožin Medusa by.
Earlier on Friday, Prigozhin had extended the Russian Ministry of Defense and the defense minister who heads it Sergei Shoigun insulting.
Prigozhin claims that Shoigu fled Rostov-on-Don shortly after the alleged attack.
– Shoigu just cowardly ran away from Rostov. At 21:00 he cowardly ran away like a battery so as not to have to explain why he sent helicopters to destroy our boys, why he made missile strikes. That pet will be stopped, Prigozhin rages.
According to Prigožin, it is not an attempted coup, but a march for justice.

RIA Novosti reports on its Telegram channel that the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reports that the claims spread in Prigozhin’s name do not correspond to reality.
– Regarding these statements, the FSB (Russian Security Service) has started a criminal investigation into the call for armed rebellion. We demand an immediate halt to the illegal activity, the statement said.
