Police and ambulance had to go to a strawberry sale in a parking lot in Ulricehamn on Thursday, reports Ulricehamn’s newspaper.

– We received an alert that there is chaos due to a strawberry farm, says police spokesperson Caroline Karlsson to Göteborgs-Posten.

Many of those who came to the sale had to queue for upwards of an hour. A man standing in the queue fainted and was helped by paramedics, UT writes.

There were also many cars that were parked, making noise.

– We got a shock, cars were parked everywhere. In the fields, along the road, says strawberry buyer Martina Wennergren to GP.

The police had to help direct the traffic.

– We directed the traffic and after an hour or so it had calmed down. We did not take any other action and there is no suspicion of crime. It was simply messy, says Caroline Karlsson to GP.
