The search for the submarine, whose communication was cut off two hours after the dive, continues at full speed. It is among the information obtained that there is only a sufficient amount of oxygen for 24 hours in the submarine.
In the footage shared by the US Coast Guard, the rescue team, about 900 miles off the US coast, is trying to determine whether the sound coming from under the sea is coming from the missing submarine.
THE VOICE IS A LIGHT OF HOPE…
The sound coming from under the sea is expressed as a ‘beacon of hope’ for the rescue team.
“Based on data from the field, we are much more confident that there is reason for hope, we understand that possible signs of life have been detected in the area,” it said in a statement yesterday.
EIGHT MORE SHIPS ARE OPERATING BREATHLESS!
In addition to Deep Energy, there are eight other vessels heading to the area 900 miles east of Cape Cod and about 400 miles southeast of Newfoundland.
Numerous C-130 aircraft and Boeing Poseidon P-8s were also included in the search.
The voice from under the sea, the only hope for finding the lost submarine. But the US Coast Guard warns that this may not be the missing crew.
