The James Bond successor remains unclear, and in the wake of James Bond 007: No Time To Die, many stars are trying to play the 007 role. At least that’s how it seems in the first trailer for the Netflix blockbuster Heart of Stone, in which Matthias Schweighöfer (Keinohrhasen) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) have to save the world.

Is Netflix sending Matthias Schweighöfer and Gal Gadot into a million flop?
In Heart of Stone, Rachel Stone (Gadot), Parker (Jamie Dornan) and Schweighöfer’s previously unnamed character are part of the elite secret organization Charter, which saves the world when governments fail. Their power lies in the so-called Heart, a device that has immense destructive potential. But then she is stolen by the cunning Keya Dhawan (Alia Bhatt). and the world threatens to plunge into chaos.
Heart of Stone is a major project along the lines of Red Notice and The Gray Man: A very expensive, according to the comic book, action spectacle with big names in front of the camera, which is primarily intended to establish a franchise.
However, there is a downside to such projects. Red Notice and The Gray Man could, measured against their monster budgets, only stay in the Netflix top ten for a short time. In addition, the films are hardly memorable for many Netflix fans and seem interchangeable despite the horrendous costs.
When is Heart of Stone coming to Netflix?
Heart of Stone will be released on August 11, 2023 on Netflix. It remains to be seen whether this will be a mega hit or a million dollar grab. It is an important step on Matthias Schweighöfer’s path to the Netflix takeover.
