Continued train mess – maintenance delayed
The major maintenance work on the Södra main line has been delayed, reports say P4 Kronoberg.
The maintenance work has been ongoing during week 24 and the track was fully opened to traffic on Monday morning at 05.00. However, due to the delayed work, trains can only run past Alvesta on one track, which means delays and canceled trains.
On the coast to coast line between Gothenburg and Kalmar, the sections between Växjö-Alvesta and Alvesta-Värnamo are canceled and replaced by bus, according to the radio.
