Stratford police are looking for a man caught on security camera reportedly shoplifting roughly $2,000 in merchandise from the Canadian Tire in St. Marys last month.
Police said they were contacted by the store on May 23 about a shoplifting incident that occurred shortly after 3 pm that day. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’7″ and with a slim build. He has long, dark-brown hair pulled back into a ponytail and a goatee. At the time of the theft, the suspect was wearing black jogging pants, a white T-shirt, flip flops and white socks.
Police alleged the man selected several items with a total approximate value of $2,000 and left the store without paying. He was last seen fleeing the area in an older model blue Honda Civic.
